The seminar is presented by the College of Law’s Research Team participating in the joint research project entitled
“Toward Reforming the Economic Legislative Mechanisms for Achieving Legal Security in light of the National Policies of the State of Qatar “
which is funded by the Qatar National Research Fund (QNRF) – National Priorities Research Program NPRP – 11th Session – Qatar Foundation.
The seminar is part of the project activities, including holding discussion sessions with partners and beneficiaries of its results such as chambers of commerce, businessmen and the private sector.
It addresses the “Public-Private Partnership: Reality and Challenges in the State of Qatar” and efforts made to adopt a special law on this subject, benefiting from comparative experiences and national needs.
The seminar represents an implementation of the main pillar of the national research priorities, which aims to develop the urgent paths to diversify the economy in the areas specified by the National Development Strategy of Qatar. It constitutes an attempt to address the major challenges of understanding the nature of risks and opportunities associated with the transformation of markets.
Many QC Board of Directors will be present at the event alongside with representatives of the business sector.
Conclusions and results of the seminar will be utilized in the project.
