Qatar Chamber Board of Directors , chaired by HE Sheikh Khalifa bin Jassim Al Thani , discussed yesterday complains submitted by many companies and business owners regarding the decision of the Logistic Commission that drove up rents of Berkket Al Awamer stores rents from QR 2 up to QR 40 per each square meter.
The Board decided to form a committee to study reasons and consequences of this decision in order to communicate with competent authorities. It also will review the expected effects and impacts of this hike on the Qatari private sector and on national economy as well.
