Qatar Chamber Vice Chairman HE Mohamed bin Twar met today morning at the Chamber venue with HE. Dr. Hessamuddin Hamra, Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Affairs of Afghanistan, and his accompanying delegation .
The meeting revolved around the possibility of recruiting Afghani manpower to Qatar and ways of enhancing investment opportunities in Afghanistan.
Bin Twar welcomed the visiting team assuring the good relations between Qatar and Afghanistan . He praised the signing of manpower agreement in 2008 saying “ it is a good step will provide the national market with qualified and trained manpower”.
The coming ten years will witness implementing mega projects especially in the infrastructure sector , businessmen may make good advantage of the Afghani manpower in these projects, he added.
The Chamber’s Vice Chairman stressed the Chamber’s readiness to provide the Afghani side with the needed information and companies willing to recruit manpower in their works.
He also assured Qatari businessmen’s desire to explore the available investment opportunities in Afghanistan . There will be a coordination with the Embassy to organize a meeting for this purpose , he said.
