For his part, Giancarlo Rocco said that the delegation comprises major investment and business institutions in Paraná, along with leading companies, aimed at exploring business opportunities and partnerships with Qatari businessmen. He emphasised that they view Qatar as a regional business hub and a gateway to the region’s markets, expressing strong interest in learning more about investment opportunities in the country.
Rocco noted that Paraná is one of Brazil’s largest economies, with a GDP of about $ 132.6 billion in 2024, affirming that it leads several key industries in Brazil and Latin America. He also highlighted that Paraná has around 400,000 companies ready to export to 180 countries across sectors such as meat, grains, and more.
