Mr. Ali Bu Sherbak Al Mansoori, Acting General Manager of Qatar Chamber, praised the speech delivered by His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Amir of the State of Qatar, at the opening of the new session of the Shura Council, describing it as an inspiring and comprehensive address that outlined a clear roadmap for the future of Qatar’s national economy and sustainable development journey.

Mr. Al Mansoori affirmed that the directives and insights contained in His Highness’s speech reflect the clarity of Qatar’s strategic vision and the wisdom of its leadership, highlighting the resilience and strength of the Qatari economy, which continues to achieve positive growth despite global economic fluctuations. This success, he noted, stems from sound economic diversification policies and a strong focus on developing non-hydrocarbon sectors and human capital.

He emphasized that His Highness the Amir underscored the importance of enhancing the role of the private sector in national development by opening new investment opportunities and enabling it to manage and operate key projects and assets. This approach, he added, will boost economic efficiency, attract more foreign investments, and reinforce the private sector’s role as a key partner in achieving comprehensive and sustainable development.

Mr. Al Mansoori also commended His Highness’s focus on investing in people, education, family values, and national identity, considering them essential pillars for building a strong and cohesive society and for achieving a balance between economic growth and human development.

He concluded by stressing that His Highness the Amir’s speech embodies Qatar’s forward-looking vision, reinforcing confidence in the country’s ability to continue realizing the goals of Qatar National Vision 2030, and to move steadily toward greater prosperity, sustainability, and global leadership under His Highness’s wise guidance.
