Qatar Chamber received Mr. Mehmood Arshad, Chairman of the Pakistani side of the Qatar-Pakistan Business Council, on Sunday, August 30, at the Chamber’s headquarters. He was welcomed by Mr. Mohamed Al-Obaidli, QC Board Member.
The meeting discussed trade relations between Qatar and Pakistan and ways to strengthen them, as well as opportunities for cooperation between the Qatari and Pakistani private sectors across various sectors.
Al-Obaidli affirmed Qatar Chamber’s keenness to strengthen cooperation between companies from both sides through strategic partnerships and mutual investments. He highlighted Qatar’s investment potential and the incentives and facilities it provides to attract foreign investment.
He noted that several sectors offer promising opportunities for cooperation, including banking, real estate, trade and technology. He also invited Pakistani companies and investors to explore investment opportunities in Qatar and benefit from its advanced infrastructure and potential as a regional hub for logistics and food security.
For his part, Mr. Arshad praised the strong relations between Qatar and Pakistan, noting the Pakistani side’s interest in exploring investment opportunities in Qatar and cooperating with Qatari companies on joint projects that would benefit both sides.
