Qatar Chamber Chairman HE Sheikh Khalifa bin Jassim Al Thani met on Monday with Director-General of the Arab Labor Organization (ALO) Fayez Ali Al Mutairi and his accompanying delegation at the headquarter of the Chamber.
The meeting focused on ways of bolstering cooperation between Qatar Chamber and ALO and issues relating to labor in Arab region.
HE Sheikh Khalia gave tribute to the Arab Organization , assuring the importance of enhancing cooperation with as the real representative of employers , laborers and their issues.
He expressed his appreciation to the support the organization gave in Geneva meetings last June rejecting and advocating the allegations against Qatar’s laborers circumstances .
Both Sheikh Khalifa and Al Mutairi lauded the idea of establishing an advanced training center in the Organization . There is an urgent need for training in areas of inspection , safety , health and labor disputes , they agreed.
