Qatar Chamber’s Acting General Manager, Ali Bu Sherbak Al Mansouri, met on Tuesday, October 7, at the Chamber’s headquarters with Francesco d’Ovidio, Director of the International Labor Organisation (ILO) Country Office for the State of Qatar.
The meeting was also attended by Hamad Ali Al Marri, Director of the Chamber’s Committees and Business Councils Affairs Department.
During the meeting, officials discussed ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation between both sides, particularly in areas related to the Organization’s activities and the labour and workers’ sector, with the objective of serving the interests of the Qatari business community and private sector.
For his part, Al Mansouri praised the ILO’s pivotal role and congratulated d’Ovidio on his appointment as the first Director of the ILO Country Office in Qatar.
He affirmed that there are numerous opportunities for cooperation between the two parties.
