Qatar Chamber (QC) has been invited to participate in the International Investment Conference in Tourism which will be held in Caracas, Venezuela, on June 26-28, 2019.
This came during a meeting between QC Second Vice Chairman Rashid bin Hamad al Athba with Ambassador of Venezuela to Qatar HE Giuseppe Angelo Yoffreda Yorio in Doha.
Addressing the meeting, Giuseppe reviewed the objectives of the conference which aims at attracting foreign investments to the Venezuelan tourism sectors.
He called on Qatari businessmen to explore investment opportunities available in Venezuelan, noting that the conference would offer many investment opportunities such as three islands which include all economic and touristic potentials.
“Investment opportunities also galore in other sectors including oil, gold, mining and agriculture,” Giuseppe said.
Venezuela has greatly developed its economic laws and legislatives with a view to attracting more foreign investments in all sectors, he added.
He affirmed his country’s interest to promote relations with Qatar in all economic and commercial aspects.
Athba hailed the distinguished relations between both countries, noting that Qatar Chamber is ready to promote investment opportunities in Venezuela among Qatari businessmen.
He said the chamber encourages Qatari businessmen to explore investment climate in Venezuela.
