Qatar Chamber First Vice-Chairman HE Mohamed bin Twar Al Kuwari met on Thursday with Chairman of Diplomatic Relations Commission at the Independent Industrialist’s and Businessmen’s Association of Turkiye Osman Nuri Onugoren.
The meeting deliberated upon means to strengthen the bilateral relations between both sides and the importance to activate cooperation between both entities, especially in organising events and conferences, thereby enhancing cooperation ties between Qatari and Turkish businessmen.
The meeting also touched on commercial and investment cooperation, and the investment opportunities available in both countries, and the possibility of establishing joint ventures.
Addressing the meeting, bin Twar stressed the close relations between Qatar and Turkiye, and their cooperation in many fields, especially in economic and commercial aspects, noting that the two countries’ trade volume hi QR 8.1 billion, registering a 17 percent growth compared with QR 6.9 billion in 2021.
HE also noted that Turkiye is an attractive investment destination, indicating that Qatari businessmen are eager to invest there and establish commercial alliances with their Turkish counterparts.
