Qatar Chamber has concluded its 16th workshop for training customs trustees. The workshop was organised in cooperation with General Customs Authority.
A total of 58 trainees took part in the event. Head of Public Relations at Qatar Chamber Ahmed Abo Nahia said that the purpose of the programme is to provide good vocational training to customs trustees, to help them learn the most important laws and guidelines related to their job. He added that the programme also contributes to increasing the workers efficiency.
The programme dealt with training materials related to the work of the customs broker, practical training, all modern laws related to customs, in addition to customs procedures and exemptions, customs clearance, outstanding conditions of fees, rules of origin, prevention and restriction
