The Qatar Chamber (QC) and the Snoonu Trading and Services Co. (Snoonu) have recently signed an agreement to support the ninth edition of the ‘Made in Qatar 2023’ exhibition as a Service Sector Sponsor.
The agreement was signed on Wednesday October 11 by Saleh bin Hamad al-Sharqi, General Manager of Qatar Chamber and Chairperson of the Exhibition’s Technical Committee, and Hamad Mubarak Al-Hajri, Founder and CEO of Snoonu, at the Chamber’s headquarters.
Held under the patronage of the Amir HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the ‘Made in Qatar’ exhibition is organised by the Qatar Chamber in cooperation with the Ministry of Commerce & Industry (MoCI) from November 29 to December 2 at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Centre (DECC).
On this occasion, Saleh al-Sharqi expressed his thanking to Snoonu for supporting the exhibition, stressing that this sponsorship reflected its interest to supporting the national industry and products.
He praised the company for its vital role in Qatar, being the Qatar’s leading e-commerce company and one of the most prominent delivery companies in the state. It is also the first Qatari application to provide comprehensive solutions for its citizens.
Al-Sharqi also commended Snoonu’s leadership in the local market, its consistent growth and development, and its adoption of modern technologies in the field, which contributes significantly to bolstering trade in Qatar.
Regarding the expo, he emphasized its role in promoting the national industry and fostering communication among businessmen and entrepreneurs in the industrial sector. He expressed hope that the exhibition would significantly contribute to the further development of the industrial sector, showcasing Qatar’s most prominent industries and products, ultimately reducing reliance on imports.
Hamad Al Hajri, Founder and CEO of Snoono, expressed his pleasure in sponsoring the services sector at the ‘Made in Qatar’ exhibition, one of the most important exhibitions in Qatar. He noted that the exhibition provides a significant opportunity to showcase all that is manufactured in Qatar.
Al Hajri indicated that this sponsorship will support Qatari industries through the Snoono platform and promote technologies made in Qatar through the Snoono application, which will be showcased in the company’s pavilion at the exhibition.
He also emphasized the importance of supporting the Qatar National Vision 2030, whose pillars are focusing on the development of a diversified and knowledge-based economy.
