QCCI, Turkish Electro Technology Exporters’ Association Discuss Cooperation

Qatar Chamber of Commerce and Industry (QCCI) discussed aspects of telectro-logo-2cooperation with several members of the Turkish Electro Technology Exporters’ Association (TET) at a meeting held at its headquarters today.

QCCI Vice Chairman Mohammed bin Ahmed bin Towar highlighted the growing economic and trade relations with the Republic of Turkey, pointing out that the State of Qatar has abundant investment opportunities in all fields, especially in electronics, information and communication technology, and electrical appliances.

He added that trade cooperation between the private sectors in both countries is a common goal sought by businessmen from both sides, especially since the trade exchange between Qatar and Turkey reached about $1.3 billion in 2015, and as the State of Qatar is undertaking many mega projects in preparation for 2022 FIFA world cup.

For their part, members of the delegation said that their visit aimed at exploring the Qatari market, and the creation of effective partnerships in Qatar to benefit the economies of both countries.

At the end of the meeting, QCCI Vice Chairman invited members of the delegation to participate in the Qatari- Turkish economic forum scheduled to be held at the end of next October in order to identify investment opportunities and potential partnerships in both countries. (QNA)
