Qatar Chamber hosted a Russian trade team led by CEO of Roscongress Foundation Stuglev Alexander, The meeting reviewed horizons of economic and trade cooperation between both sides and ways of enhancing coordination between both institutions.
QC Board Member Mohamed bin Ahmed al Obaidli said Qatar and Russia enjoyed strong relation, stressing that there is a significant interest to further enhance their cooperation in trade fields and there are many Qatari investments in Russia and many Russian companies are working in Qatar.
Obaidli affirmed that Qatar obtains a very attractive investment climate backed by many laws and legislations and developed infrastructure and many other incentives that made Qatar a very important hub for investment and business.
Stuglev Alexander said Roscongress Foundation is one of the most leading institution in organising international conferences and fairs, noting that it also provides many services including business administration and investment promotion.
He noted that the Russian delegation represented a number of Russian companies working in the field of technology and electronics, affirming that the objective of the visit is to inform Qatari businessmen on the most important projects in which they can participate, as well as to learn about the investment opportunities available in Qatar.
