Qatar Chamber (QC) signed on Sunday a purchase agreement with Qatari Diar Real Estate Investment Company for purchasing a new headquarter for the Chamber in the Commercial Boulevard in Lusail City.
The signing ceremony was attended by HE Minister of Commerce and Industry Ali bin Ahmed Al Kuwari.
The agreement was signed by QC Chairman HE Sheikh Khalifa bin Jassim Al Thani and Qatari Diar CEO Eng. Abdulla bin Hamad Al Attiyah on the sidelines of the opening of Cityscape Qatar at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center (DECC).
A number of QC board members and a leading businessman were also present at the signing ceremony.
On that occasion, HE Sheikh Khalifa expressed his pleasure in signing this agreement, noting that Lusail city is the city of the future and the first smart city in the region owing to its state-of-the-art infrastructure and the investment opportunities it offers for businessmen.
HE Sheikh Khalifa also said that the Chamber’s new headquarter coincides with the renaissance witnessed by Qatar, stressing that it will be properly equipped to suit all the activities, services, and events provided by the Chamber to the private sector.
The Chamber’s current headquarter will be transferred to the new building after it is fully completed, he said, adding that transferring the Chamber to the Commercial Boulevard will further enhance the services it offers its members.
QC Chairman indicated that the Commercial Boulevard is one of the unique projects in Lusail City for its unique diversity as it consists of spacious buildings designed for multipurpose uses including retail, corporate offices, hotels, residential units, and convention centers.
Commending the Cityscape Qatar, Sheikh Khalifa said that it constitutes an important platform for real estate companies to announce their new projects and communicate with potential investors in Qatar and world countries, pointing out that the Qatari real estate sector has managed to overcome the implications of the Covid-19 pandemic which affected the whole world.

The building that has been purchased today will be the new headquarters of the Qatar Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The building is commercial-administrative that features a modern design in the main Commercial Boulevard in Lusail City which constitutes a land area of 7,687 square meters and a total rental area of about 17000 square meters with a height of ten floors.
It is noteworthy that the Commercial Boulevard is 1.3-kilometer long and includes a group of luxurious multi-use residential units and shops designed in line with the highest international quality standards.
Located at the heart of Lusail City and starts from Al Khor road west to towers of Lusail Plaza east, the Commercial Boulevard is a dynamic and diverse commercial and residential destination in Lusail City.
It consists of 18 spacious buildings designed for multipurpose uses including retail, corporate offices, hotels, residential units, and convention centers.
It also will include a wide range of shopping centers, 4 and 5-star hotels, offices, art galleries, libraries, studios, retail spaces, auto showrooms, eateries, and recreational areas.
The Commercial Boulevard is inspired by the Champs-Élysées avenue in France, with its towers surrounding the high gate, and car and pedestrian roads. It is a vibrant residential and commercial destination that encompasses a variety of shopping centers and entertainment facilities, giving residents and visitors unique lifestyle experiences.
The area also includes a network of advanced transportation systems and underground car parks that accommodate more than 2,000 vehicles.
Developed by Qatari Diar, Lusail City extends across an area of 38 square kilometers and can accommodate approximately 450,000 people.
