The general assembly meeting (GAM) of Qatar Chamber (QC) has been postponed to May 12 due to lack of quorum of members who are eligible to attend, Qatar Chamber’s Chairman Sheikh Khalifa bin Jassim bin Mohammed Al Thani has said.
The next GAM will be held on May 12 regardless of the number of attendees, Sheikh Khalifa has announced. He also urged all registered companies to participate in the second GAM, which will begin at 12 noon at the Chamber’s headquarters.
The General Assembly Meeting will discuss QC’s fiscal report for the year ending December 31, 2018 and a new auditor for the 2019 financial year will be appointed. The members who have the right to attend should accomplish the subscription for 2019 until the date of the meeting, he also said.
QC, in its statement, also said that for private enterprises, the owner should be attending in person with his Qatari ID or his authorised signatory should be provided with his name registered in the commercial registration.
