Qatar Chamber’s Insurance Committee discussed last week the Resolution No:1/2016 issued by Qatar Central Bank regarding insurance companies at the headquarter of the Chamber .
Qatar Chamber Chairman HE Sheikh Khalifa bin Jassim Al Thani who is also head of the insurance committee chaired the meeting in the presence of director of Committees and Business Councils Saif Al Kuwari.
The resolution includes issuance of insurance executive regulations and principals of governance of insurance companies.
The members of the committee agreed to meet soon for discussing views and suggestions proposed by insurance companies in this regard, besides reviewing all measures needed for improving the insurance sector.
