Qatar Chamber will host an extensive gathering between officials from Hamad Port and representatives of food companies and exporters on Thursday 13th April at the Chamber headquarter, according to a press release issued by the Chamber.
The meeting will discuss the obstacles and complaints spotted by the Chamber and facing Qatar companies exporting food staff.
It also will review the latest actions taken by the Qatar Ports Management Co. “ Mwani”, in addition to the increase of fees imposed on importers, as well as some other obstacles faced by food importers in Qatar.
The statement said the Chamber has addressed the competent authorities such as Transport Ministry, General Authority of Customs and “Mwani” on the obstacles facing food companies which responded by accepting holding this expanded meeting.
The Chamber has sent invitations to all food staff importers to attend the meeting which will be attended by senior officials from the competent bodies.
