Qatar Chamber (QC) will hold its general assembly meeting (GAM) on February 15 online.
The meeting will be chaired by QC Chairman Sheikh Khalifa bin Jassim Al Thani.
The Chamber said in a statement on Sunday that due to the current circumstances and in adherence with the precautionary measures taken to curb the outbreak of coronavirus, the GAM would be held electronically.
The online registration for attendance the meeting will start from the meeting’s (Feb 15) and will close half an hour before the meeting through the Chamber’s website www. qatarchamber.com
After registration, each member, who must have a valid membership, will receive a link to follow up and participate in the meeting.
The statement also noted that if the quorum is not completed at the first meeting, the second meeting would be held at 12:00pm on Wednesday March 3, 2021 regardless of the number of attendees.
HE Sheikh Khalifa invited the Chamber’s members and businessmen to attend the meeting.
The meeting’s agenda includes reviewing the report of the Board of Director on the activities of the Chamber for the year ended 31, December 2020.
It also includes discussing the QC’s fiscal report for the year ending December 31, 2020 through the auditor’s report on the final accounts and the statement of income and expenses for the year.
It also will see approving the estimated budget for the fiscal year 2021 and appointing a new auditor for the 2021 financial year.
