Qatar Chamber (QC) held a meeting with a trade delegation from the Republic of Kosovo to discuss the ways to promote cooperation aspects and establish partnerships and trade alliances in fields such as agriculture, tourism and others.
Second Vice-Chairman at QC Rashid bin Hamad Al Athba said the opportunities have become suitable to promote cooperation relations between the private sectors of both countries, in light of the potential both sides offer.
HE added that QC is ready to offer the needed support to the businessmen who wish to enter the markets of both countries and to raise awareness amongst the local business community on the investment opportunities and incentives each country offers in the various investment fields.
Head of Kosovo’s trade delegation presented a brief on the investment potential and opportunity found in Kosovo, which is rich in natural resources including lead, zinc, silver, chrome, iron, nickel, coal, etc.
He highlighted that certain fields may attract Qatari investors such as agriculture as half of the country’s land is used for agriculture, such as maize, wheat, vegetables and others. He called on Qatari business owners to visit Kosovo and benefit from the facilities and incentives it provides.
