Qatar Chamber has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with “Hawkama Centre” to prepare and issue its commercial and industrial directory 2018-2019, which includes lists of commercial and industrial companies operating in the country and registered under the Chamber. It also includes phone and fax numbers, addresses and all contact data.
The MoU was signed by Director General’s Assistant for Governmental and International Relations at Qatar Chamber, Ali bu Sherbak al Mansouri and Chairman of Hawkama Centre, Mansour Ahmed al Saadi, QC said in a statement on Sunday.
Mansouri called upon all companies operating in Qatar to register in the directory, which aims at facilitating business environment and providing correct and accurate data about the private sector companies.
He said the release of the directory comes within the framework of the Chamber’s plans to develop and update services it provides to the Qatari private sector and its members, stressing that the number of companies registered during the siege has significantly increased.
The Hawkama Centre chairman said the company is honoured to cooperate with Qatar Chamber in the issuance of its commercial and industrial directory, which is an updated and inclusive data base for the private sector.
The directory will be issued in December 2018, Saadi noted, saying, “It will available in hard copy and in PDF on the directory’s website.”
The directory will also be available in mobile applications and tablet devices for easy access to all data and information about commercial and industrial companies in Qatar.
Saadi said the centre would harness its potential and experience in collecting, indexing, designing and printing to produce a distinct directory.
The Hawkama Centre is a Doha-based well-known centre, whose activities include publications, organising conferences and PR services.
