Under the patronage of Chairman of Qatar Chamber (QC) Sheikh Khalifa bin Jassim Al Thani, the Qatari-German Business Forum will be held on Thursday, 20 August 2020, through video conference.
The forum aims to review trade and investment cooperation between both parties and provide an opportunity for companies of both counties to discuss establishing alliances and partnerships that support both economies, the statement added. The forum will be led by Sheikh Khalifa and President of the Arab-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry Peter Ramsauer.
Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Germany HE Mohammed bin Jaham al Kuwari will also attend the forum.
Qatar Chamber has invited Qatari businessmen and companies interested in German economy to attend the forum.
It also has launched an online matchmaking platform to enable companies from both countries to hold mutual discussions on forging alliances and partnerships whether in Qatar or in Germany.
The forum includes delivering many presentations from both sides.
During the forum, Director of Investor Relations at the Investment Promotion Agency Hamad Rashid al Nuaimi, Investment Manager at Qatar Science and Technology Park Abdullah al Nuaimi and Markets Manager at Qatar Free Zones Authority Fahd Ali al Kuwari will deliver presentations.
From the German side, a presentation will be delivered by Senior Managing Director at ValueTrust Financial Advisors Prof Christian Aders.
The forum will also witness bilateral meetings and networking through a link to facilitate communication between both parties.
