Qatar Chamber signed Saturday a cooperation agreement with the Volunteer Committee for Employment of People with Disabilities to provide training and employment to people with disabilities.
President of Qatar Chamber HE Sheikh Khalifa bin Jassim bin Mohammed Al-Thani said that signing the agreement was part of the chamber’s commitment to social responsibility and support to people with disabilities. His Excellency said that people with disability, if allowed to reach their potential, can provide a boost to the human capital of any society. That requires relying on specialists and experts to help people with disabilities.
For his part, Head of the Volunteer Committee for Employment of People with Disabilities Khalid Al Shoaibi praised Qatar Chamber’s keenness on rehabilitating and employing people with disabilities. He said that this segment represented a significant proportion of the Qatari society, whether they were Qatari citizens or expats. He expressed his hope that the agreement materializes into a successful initiative for employing people with disabilities.
