Qatar Chamber vice chairman Mohamed met with a Djibouti delegation headed by HE. Minister of Habitat, Urban Planning, and Environment , Moussa Mohamed Ahmed, in the presence of HE. Ambassador Ext. and Plen, Tayeb Robla, at the Chamber venue yesterday.
The meeting dealt with the available investment opportunities Djibouti and areas of cooperation between businessmen of both countries in fields of infrastructure, real estate and hospitality.
During his welcome speech, Bin Twar said that Qatari businessmen are interested to explore about the investment environment in Djibouti and to build cooperation ties with their Somali counterparts.
Bin Twar stressed the Chamber’s readiness to organize a meeting gathering both parties businessmen to discuss closely aspects of cooperation between them.
For his part, the Djibouti minister said that his country is distinguished by its unique geographical location, adding that there are many development projects which are being implemented in Djibouti in fields of infrastructure, transport, ports, airports and rail.
He invited Qatari businessmen to visit his country to explore the investment opportunities and to tap from the facilities and incentives provided by the government.
