The Qatar Chamber participates in the activities of the “Milipol Qatar 2021” Exhibition, which was inaugurated at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center on Monday March 15, with the participation of 143 local and international exhibiting companies.
Organized by the Ministry of Interior in cooperation with Paris-based international event organizer Comexposium, the international exhibition is dedicated to showcase the latest innovations in the homeland security and civil defence.
Through its booth in the expo, the Qatar Chamber will highlight the services it offers for the business community, companies, and its members. It also will offer information about doing businesses in Qatar, in addition to the investment climate and other issues related to the Qatari private sector.
His Excellency Sheikh Khalifa bin Jassim bin Mohammed Al Thani, Chairman of the Qatar Chamber, participated in the opening ceremony of the exhibition today, Monday, March 15th, at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center.
His Excellency also toured the pavilions of the companies participating in the exhibition, during which he was briefed on the products and innovations that these companies offer in the fields of internal security.
During his tour of the exhibition, HE Sheikh Khaifa bin Jassim Al Thani stressed the importance of the Milipol Exhibition, noting that it is one of the most leading fairs specialized in technologies of homeland security in the region.
Sheikh Khalifa called on Qatari businessmen and companies to visit the exhibition, indicating that it offers a great opportunity for local companies to learn more about the homeland security sector, especially about cybersecurity and the latest innovations in the field of public safety.
The expo represents a link between global manufacturers, users, and security and safety experts, he added.
