Qatar Chamber 1st Vice-Chairman Mohamed bin Ahmed bin Twar met with a delegation from the Central African Republic (CAR), headed by Minister Mahamat Taib Yacoub, special adviser on co-operation with the Arab World at the Qatar Chamber.
The meeting focused on discussing ways of enhancing cooperation relations and informing Qatar Chamber and Qatari businessmen on the investment opportunities available in Central African Republic.
On his part, Taib Yacoub said that his country is very keen to strengthen cooperation ties with Qatar and interested in attracting Qatari investments, noting that there are a multitude of business opportunities in agriculture, mining and oil. He thanked the chamber for hosting the meeting, and called on Qataris to visit his country to explore the investment climate and incentives introduced by its government.
Mohamed bin Twar said that Qatar Chamber highly welcomes the visiting delegation and ready to offer assistance for encouraging Qatari businessmen to invest in Central African Republic. He affirmed that Qatar is interested to increase its investment In Africa which has enough investment opportunities.
