The seventh session of Arab International Women’s Forum (AIWF) will be held in Doha today. It is aimed at shedding light on the contribution of businesswomen in Qatar and the inspiration of the new generation of female leadership to contribute to economic development in the region.
The daylong forum is organized by youth Arab women leaderships, affiliated to the Arab International Women’s Forum in partnership with Qatar Chamber’s Businesswomen Forum, Qatar International Businesswomen Forum (QIBWF) and Qatar Business Incubator (QBI).
The forum will discuss the role that could be played by governments, civil society, media and the academic sector to help youths in the field of business through the launch of profitable projects and gradually develop them with a view to providing job opportunities and leaving a positive impact on the Qatari economy. Founder and Chairwoman of the Arab International Women’s Forum, Hayfa’a Al Kaylani, will attend the event along with Chief Executive Officer of Qatar Development Bank (QDB), Abdul Aziz bin Nasser Al Khalifa, Chairman of Qatari Businesswomen Forum and Qatar Chamber Board Member, Ibtihaj Al Ahmadany, and CEO of Qatar Business Incubator, Aysha Al Mudahka.
The Arab International Women’s Forum stands unique as the first and only non-profit organization set up in London to link Arab business and professional women in the 22 Arab countries and with their counterparts in the international community.
The Arab International Women’s Forum has a clear aim to support and enhance the role of women in the social and economic development of their countries and the Middle East.
The Arab International Women’s Forum, established in 2001 as an independent not-for-profit organisation, is a unique network linking Arab women with their international counterparts and serves as the voice of Arab women.
