The Qatar Chamber (QC) and the Qatar Primary Materials Company (Al-Awalia) have recently signed a diamond sponsorship agreement for the ninth edition of the ‘Made in Qatar 2023’ Exhibition.
The agreement was signed on Sunday October 22 by Director of Administrative & Finance Affairs Dept. at Qatar Chamber Hussain Yosef Al Abdulghani, and Administration Director at Al-Awalia Mohammed Abubaker Al-Mahmoud.
Held under the patronage of the Amir HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the ‘Made in Qatar’ exhibition is organised by the Qatar Chamber in cooperation with the Ministry of Commerce & Industry (MoCI) from November 29 to December 2 at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Centre (DECC).
On this occasion, Hussain Al-Abdulghani expressed his gratitude to Al-Awalia for its continuous support for the exhibition, praising the company’s role in the Qatari economy by securing a large reserve of building materials needed for the local market, in line with the State’s urban and construction boom.
He also commended its continuous support for the expo, reflecting its keenness to support the national industry and promote Qatari products.
Al-Abdulghani emphasized the exhibition’s role in promoting the national industry and fostering communication among businessmen and entrepreneurs in the industrial sector. He expressed hope that the exhibition would significantly contribute to the further development of the industrial sector, especially in the SMEs.
For his part, Administration Director at Al-Awalia, Mohammed Abubaker Al-Mahmoud, expressed his pleasure in Al-Awalia being a diamond sponsor of the ‘Made in Qatar’ expo. He stressed the vital role of the expo in promoting local industry and products.
Al-Mahmoud said that the exhibition provides a valuable opportunity for the company to highlight its role in the local market and the products it offers, such as dune and washed sand, gabro, and other materials needed for the construction market in Qatar.
