5th Part of “Taqat” Programme concluded

The fifth part of the 1st phase of “Taqat” program concluded at Qatar Chamber yesterday titled “ Preparation of Formal Correspondences”. The four-day course was held in collaboration with the Specialized Training and Consulting Center (STCC).

Director of administrative and financial affairs at Qatar Chamber Hussain Al Abdulghani attended the opening ceremony along with the Center’s director Mrs. Rafeka Zarrouq,  Dr. Ahmed Usama and Al Munfaridi, from Training and Development at QC .

“Taqat” program mainly  aims to impart skills to successfully face interview to visually-impaired students and to support youth with disabilities and seek training to get suitable jobs for them.

The 5th part was attended by 30 trainees who are trained on how to write formal correspondences by Dr.Mamdoh Kamal Riyad, Training Consultant at STCC.

About “Taqat”

As part of the Qatar National vision 2030, Taqat programme for training and rehabilitation of people with disabilities has set up a plan to train 150 young people with disabilities this year.

The training programme will be implemented by the Specialized Training and Consulting Center (STCC) in cooperation with the Qatar Chamber – QC.

The training, which is going to be practical and use scientific methods, is specially designed to match the abilities of trainees preparing them for the job market and making them self-reliant.

Taqat programme aims to train and rehabilitate disabled individuals and develop their skills in order to find jobs, or continue their education.
